Each year we look forward to the 70-mile trip to Tierra Vegetables, where siblings Lee and Wayne James have been sustainably farming for over 30 years. On their beautiful land, they grow more than twenty varieties of chilies and sweet peppers, which we get to hand-pick at peak flavor. Chef Eric Tucker and team then turn the harvest into a 5-course menu for our annual Chiles & Beer Dinner—our longest-running special event since 1998! To keep both Bell Pepper fans and Naga Jolokia lovers happy, you choose your heat level (three hot sauces provided) while we pair it all with specialty beer, N/A beer, or house-made agua fresca.
